Friday: CSU travels to The College of Charleston for a night of Volleyball-We will be leaving campus at 3 p.m. from the Brewer Center. Also, WE WILL BE EATING FREE PIZZA.
Things to keep in mind-
On Nov. 4-CSU will be traveling to the College of Charleston for “THE CHARLESTON CUP” an extramural indoor soccer tournament where teams from the Citadel and C of C will be present. Last year C of C won the trophy. The BUCS plan on winning the title back this year.
On NOV. 11 CORE goes on a high ropes course-Cost is $25.00..If you are interested in joining the CORE leadership team we meet every Monday at 3 pm.
Please remember if you play any pick-up activity on Monday and Wednesday nights remove the goals from the practice football field after each use and check the area before you leave making sure that no trash is left behind. Keep up the good work.
The Team Handball and Indoor Soccer leagues begin next week. We need your help to get some teams together, so we have extended the time to sign-up. You don’t want to miss out on this great opportunity!
On Oct. 25, two men’s flag football teams and one women’s team will be participating in a tournament at The Citadel’s Parade Deck. They will be facing opponents from The Citadel and the College of Charleston. The teams will also be playing at the same location on Nov. 1.
On Oct. 28, 30-40 students will be making the trip to the College of Charleston to participate in an extramural volleyball tournament. If you are interested in traveling with them, stop by Tyler Davis’ office in the Brewer Center.
The final CORE trip of the semester will be Nov. 11. If you want to gain great leadership insight about working in a team setting, this trip is for you. It costs $25. If you are interested, you can sign up in Tyler Davis’ office in the Brewer Center.
Congrats to the Bucs 101 flag football team that attended the state flag football tournament over Fall Break. They were the number one seed after pool play and received the Sportsmanship Award. Davis said, “We are very proud of the team for representing the university well.”
